Terms of use
Last updated October 2026. ChoresMe is in a free beta.
The short version
- ChoresMe is a free beta tool to help families track chores and rewards. Use it at your own risk.
- A parent or legal guardian must create the family account and is responsible for how kids use it.
- Rewards are promises between you and your kids. ChoresMe doesn’t hold money or deliver rewards.
Accounts
You must be an adult (the age of majority where you live) to create a family or join one as a grown-up. Keep your password private. Kids use a nickname and PIN that you set; please use a nickname, not their real name.
Beta, no warranty
ChoresMe is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break or be removed, and data may be lost. Export your data from Family → Your data if you want a copy.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ChoresMe and its owner are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection or privacy laws that can’t be waived.
Fair use
Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to access other families’ data, no automated abuse, nothing illegal or harmful.
Ending your account
You can delete your family at any time from Family → Your data. This permanently deletes your family’s data. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Paid plans
The beta is free. If we add a paid monthly plan, we’ll tell you before anything is charged, and you’ll choose whether to subscribe.
